Grupo Peñaflor is an Argentine company founded in 1914 by a family of Italian immigrants, with the purpose of elaborating table wines and other non-alcoholic beverages.

In the late nineties, Grupo Peñaflor changed its business focus and decided to specialize in the elaboration of fine wines. At that moment, we gave a strong momentum to exports, breaking into new markets to offer Argentine wines of outstanding quality and renown.

In the year 2010, the Bemberg family acquired full ownership of Grupo Peñaflor, a landmark that led to the beginning of an expansion cycle for our company, based on our commitment to the sustained development of the Argentine wine industry, significant investments, exports growth and the excellent reputation of our brands.

Owing to attributes such as the richness of the origin and history of each of the wineries that make up Grupo Peñaflor, our professional experience and our way of interpreting and meeting the needs of each of our current consumers, we have been able to develop a solid and successful management model and become the leading winemaking company in Argentina and the Nº 1 Malbec producer worldwide.
